The World of TeleWare is Born

March 5, 2010

Working for a company like TeleWare is full of challenges that any designer would appreciate. Keeping the company ahead of the competition now more than ever involves offering something new to existing and potential customers alike. Every company now has an online presence and new ideas must be pursued in order to keep the spotlight on yourself, and from this challenge the World of TeleWare was born.

World of TeleWare

What It Is

To quickly sum up the project, the World of TeleWare is “an interactive cityscape providing users with an overview of the telecoms solutions offered by the TeleWare group of companies”.

No matter how you look at it telecoms is an essential part of every business, it can affect budget, staff productivity and even customer satisfaction - but it remains an essential part that is very often ignored and neglected. It’s not hard to see why, it is nearly impossible to get excited about your communications solutions. I doubt many meetings have ever started with the lines of “So, how are we going to improve out telecommunications today?” but when you take a second to think about how much your business relies on and uses the system you will begin to realise how important it is.

Enter the World of TeleWare. The microsite has been created to provide users with an exciting, engaging application to explore the companies telecommunications solutions and find out the wide range of benefits it can offer to almost any market sector. The possibilites are so much deeper than just saving a few pence per minute on an outbound call, it can massively improve staff performance anlong with customer & client satisfaction as well.

There is a huge amount of diagrams, illustrations and animations highlighting all the possibilities, along with short descriptions and enquiry forms for further information, along with several interactive elements just for fun if you are lucky enough to have a few minutes to spare.

Reception

The microsite was launced in late February and the response from both the communications and creative industries have been far greater than we could have hoped for. There have been several TeleWare partners expressing interest in somehow becoming involved in the project and there have been numerous positive articles in communication and telecom publications creating an excited buzz wothin the industry.

In my nature, being a designer I have been particularly pleased by its reception among the creative community. So far the site has been showcased on several design galleries including ‘K.O Flash’ and ‘Creattica’.

It is always good to see an ambitious project paying off in the end - time for TeleWare to sit back with a cup of tea and wait for the leads to pour in? Playing the waiting game is not in the companies nature, but hopefully they will reap the rewards from the project soon enough…
