Brougham School needed a website redesign that both parents and children could engage with. Since Brougham School is a primary school, the website may be one of the first the children have used.

In addition to this the school required a website management system that was quick and easy for the staff to website up to date. The finished project has utilised the WordPress CMS with great success.

Underline is a fast-paced word puzzle game lauched on iOS and Playstation Mobile.

The project is an internal one at Albino Pixel, it was our attempt to create a fresh and addictive style to a genre that can be traditionally slow and repetitive.

I co-founded Albino Pixel with Dave Allanson in 2011. The company aims to provide exceptional mobile and web applications, publishing not only our own ideas, but also creating solutions for other companies.

We needed a logo that was bold, stylish & memorable. Based on feedback received, I feel that final result achieves all three.

Everyone loves shorts… its a well known fact. This great little app finds your local weather conditions to let you know if today is a ‘shorts day’.

Shorts or Not was my first project as part of Albino Pixel, it is a simple and quirky app that has been successful in raising the company’s profile.

I don't often get the chance to produce digital artwork as most of my time is taken up by corporate projects (not that I’m complaining).

So, during a quiet period I produced a series of artwork, I drew my inspiration mainly from the beautiful space themed illustrations Greg Martin creates.

Upsy is the online store for Amanda Edmonds Daisy Links product, small bags of fabric daisy’s that can be linked to create a daisy chain accessory.

The website is powered by the Magento eCommerce platform (which is excellent by the way) and provides Amanda with a powerful and easy-to-use online store.

Away from my work I enjoy escaping from the monitor to the great outdoors. One of my hobbies is cycling, and after completing a couple of the UK’s Coast-2-Coast routes in recent years I set about creating an application that would take the hassle out of organising the journey.

The project is currently under development in the Albino Pixel labs and I’m hopeful of a release in the not-too-distant future.

The final piece was featured as ‘Logo of the Month’ on Paul Brownings Logo Design Podcast.

As a new start-up company LegalIT247 required an animation to provide a user-friendly and entertaining way to explain their solution and product set to potential customers. The result was an engaging, narrative driven presentation with a clear and simple style.

A targeted website to launch Samsung into the hosted telephony industry.

When Samsung partnered with my employers in 2009 they provided me with the opportunity to create a website to market their new solution. It was my first project working with such a large international company, and the fact that they asked myself to produce the website as opposed to their own marketing team outsourcing the project as usual meant a great deal.

The client paired me with the excellent Ferrer Consulting to produce the eCommerce site. My role was to plan the project, provide the designs and produce the front-end code. Ferrer Consulting then integrated it onto their eCommerce platform

I've grown up as part of the Methodist community in Marton, so when they needed a website producing I was happy to offer my services.

The website is due to be upgraded shortly to integrate WordPress as a content management system.

C&F Yachting provide crew training, placement and yacht charter services across the globe. At the time of the project they were a new start-up company with a lot of connections, so there was a huge amount of pressure to get the solution right first-time to a tight deadline.

The client paired myself with a development company on this project. My role was to create the design and produce front-end code for the bespoke web management system produced by the development company

With Albino Pixel being an application development company specialising in mobile development it would make sense for us to have a mobile version of the website, right? We thought so too.

Middlesbrough-based Judo instructions & trainers Rainbow Judo Club needed a website to further promote their group, and provide timely news updates to its members.

The website uses WordPress to power the blog section. The staff regularly update the site and have told me it is an invaluable tool for communicating with members and potential Judo enthusiasts alike.
